Before joining tivona, Markus Neuhaus was Senior Investment Manager, member of executive board and member of the investment committee with IMH venture, a Berlin based, independent venture capital company. He was responsible for financing, hands-on management and supervision of early stage high-tech companies. He was member of the supervisory board with the European Telco Exchange AG (Eutex), Düsseldorf.

As Senoir Consultant and Project Manager with Diebold Management- und Technologieberatung in Frankfurt (1998-2000), Markus Neuhaus was in charge of restructuring and reorganisation medium-sized companies in different industries, eg. automotive, pharmaceutical, clothing. From 1995 to 1997 he was consultant with Unitreu Consulting in Berlin, where he worked on privatisation of companies, esp. in the chemical indurstry.

Markus Neuhaus studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bamberg. Before, he was an apprentice to Daimler Benz.
